Who Is Life Springs
Dream Center ?

Life Springs Dream Center is a community outreach ministry of Life Springs Church and part of the global Dream Center Network.

Rooted in the love of Jesus, we focus on serving the most vulnerable in our community—those who are homeless, hungry, justice-involved, or trapped in addiction and exploitation.

Working alongside local churches, agencies, and partners, our goal is simple:
to see people discover hope, develop healthy rhythms, and deliver that same hope to others.

STORIES OF HOPE

Behind every program is a real person, with a real story of transformation.

Amy was one we meet in the Lee County Jail through our Jail Outreach. Through our relationship with her she relayed to us that she had been human trafficked to support her drug addiction. We were able to get her to a safe house where she resided for about 6 months. She went through trauma counseling, addiction classes, job skills and parenting skills at the safe house. After her stay there she came back to Sanford where she was reunited with her family. Now she has full custody of her children and has a full time job!

Teresa was in our soft/life skills class in the Lee County Jail. She attended class for 6 months while in jail. There she learned techniques on filling out a job application, how to prepare a résumé, budgeting, and how to present herself at job interview. With the skills she learned while in jail, she was able to start looking for a job when she was released. She applied at Bojangles for a frontline cashier position. She was called in for an interview and they were so impress during the hiring process that she was offered the position as Shelf Manager. Teresa now also volunteers at LSDC weekly to help feed the homeless.

We meet a young man named Terry who was having a hard time getting a job because he didn’t have transportation. His vehicle had not started for over two years. Our volunteers took time to look at the vehicle and see what needed to be done. After looking at the vehicle they realized it was just the battery. Terry. didn’t have the funds needed for a new battery or a way to get a battery. LSDC purchased a battery the next day and one of our volunteers delivered and installed the battery. We are currently helping Terry find a job.
